Packing materials
- Strong cartons in two or three standard sizes stack better than mixed boxes.
- Packing tape, a marker, old newspaper, bubble wrap if you have it, and bedsheets or blankets for furniture.
- Plastic bags for screws, cables and small parts, taped to the item they belong to.
Packing room by room
- Put heavy things such as books in small cartons, and light things such as clothes and bedding in big ones.
- Wrap plates and glasses one by one and pack plates on their edge.
- Fill empty space in each carton with paper or cloth so nothing rattles.
- Wrap mirrors, glass tops and TVs in blankets and mark them as fragile.
Loading the truck
Load the heaviest and largest items first, close to the cabin: fridge, almirah, washing machine and bed frames. Then stack cartons from heavy at the bottom to light at the top, and keep fragile cartons on top. Use mattresses and soft bundles to fill gaps so the load does not shift on the road.
Stay within the truck’s limit: up to 750 kg in the Tata Ace and up to 1000 kg in the Pick-up. If the load is bigger, book the larger truck or plan two trips.
Items that cannot go in the truck
For safety and legal reasons, LoadGo does not carry prohibited or restricted items, including hazardous materials such as explosives, chemicals and flammable substances. If you are unsure about an item, call us before you book.
